STP Collaborates with Young Writers of Cleveland

Updated: Oct 16, 2018

Program continuing in its initiative to encourage students of Cleveland to read and write.

The Saturday Tutoring Program(STP) is pleased to announce we will be continuing our partnership with CWRU's Young Writer's of Cleveland Program. Each week, students are required to complete a writing assignment on a different topic. Their writing will now be compiled to be published in a booklet from the Young Writer's Program showcasing the achievements of Cleveland students.

About Young Writers of Cleveland

Young Writers of Cleveland (YWC) is a magazine that is written by students, for students to read. It consists of articles written by Cleveland area students ranging from kindergarten through High School age. The goal of this project is to motivate students to read and write, enhancing their learning in and out of school, and inspiring them to continue to do so by showing them that their work is appreciated and valued. Copies of booklets from previous years are available upon request
